As COO of Vision40 Media, Carrie Hartunian Smith uses her dedication of more than 25 years in marketing and executive leadership experience to craft and fulfill the vision of missions in many organizations. Carrie has an uncanny ability to identify untapped areas of opportunity within an organization, create a strategic approach to streamline processes and increase an organization’s ROI.
A passionate problem solver and trailblazer, Carrie thrives on being involved at every level, working seamlessly with both clients and internal teams on all aspects of running a successful company; from business development to sales and administrative operations. You’ll find her in meetings with C-level executives and teams for ministries, non-profit, and distance learning organizations, setting and hitting targets internally with all departments including accounting and traffic, and ensuring proper media efficiencies within the media department. This holistic approach allows the client to focus more time and resources on what’s really important: their mission.
Under Carrie’s guidance, Vision40 Media is designed specifically to deliver high-value, long-term, qualified donors, while introducing cross-promotion platforms to help organizations find and get in front of their audience in today’s market. Her success began shortly after joining Apex Media, a media startup, in 1993. While at Apex, she had many roles in building the infrastructure, day-to-day operations, HR, accounting, sales operations, and more, growing the business from zero to nearly $85 million in revenue before it was acquired by Cross MediaWorks in 2007.
Over the next five years, Carrie created a successful marketing company working with top world-renowned digital marketing leaders. Her company represented a wide variety of influential doctors, financial experts, business leaders, and many other industry influencers. She created and executed their unique digital marketing strategies to elevate their market positioning authority.
Rejoining Cross MediaWorks/Cadent in 2017, Carrie now leverages her operations experience, sales mastery, and online/digital marketing expertise to bring a leading-edge perspective to clients. She enjoys working on acquisition strategies for ministry, non-profit, and distance learning clients, using video, audio, and online media solutions, as well as building network distribution and more. As a result, she is leading the charge in building the Vision40 Media brand.
Today, her passion lies in creating and executing strategic growth plans and marketing campaigns/automation, while establishing benchmarks for success for organizations that truly impact the people they serve.
